Why should you buy this book?
I have cared for over 60 different bitches during their pregnancy and
delivered the puppies for their owners.
I have seen and dealt with most things that can arise during the
process.
Using my own experiences, I have outlined the breeding process in
simple, easy to understand terms that will make it easier for a new
breeder to understand.
This
book is not intended to replace appropriate Veterinary advice but it will
take a lot of the mystery out of how to breed a litter of healthy,
thriving puppies.
Breeding
a litter of puppies is a very rewarding experience but can also be a
very stressful time.
Things can (and do…) go wrong and you could end up losing both the pups and their Mom
if you ignore the warning signs or
even if you just don’t recognize that
there is a problem.
Would you know
what to do if:
•
Your bitch was having strong contractions but no puppy was
visible?
•
Your bitch was having strong contractions and a puppy was visible
but not coming out?
•
One or more of the puppies didn't breathe immediately?
•
One or more of the puppies was not growing or putting on weight?
Well, the
answers to these and many more common questions are inside this very
useful book.
Inside ‘The Layman’s
Guide to Whelping Puppies – From Conception to Sale’ I have
covered the
obvious warning signs that something may be wrong and what to do in the
event that a problem occurs before, during and after the whelping
process.
Nothing can
replace good Veterinary care but this book will help to give you
the confidence to take the first leap into the Dog Breeding
arena.
So, if you are thinking about
breeding a litter of puppies, you must get this
book before you start, it could save you a lot of money and even more
heartache.
Before
I whelped
my very first litter of puppies (a lot of years ago…), I had looked
through all the bookstores for a book that was written in
layman’s language.
I was
disappointed to find that there was only what I considered to be text
or veterinary
books on the subject – nothing that was instantly understandable to the
first time breeder.
So, I had to
pester my more knowledgeable friends with questions like
-
She’s doing……..is she ready to give birth?
-
She's pushing but the puppy is still not coming out - what do I do?
-
She won’t lie down to have the puppy, what can I do?
-
The puppies are squeaking, are they OK?
-
Mom won’t eat anything, what do I do?
-
Mom is looking a bit thin but the puppies look fine – will she be OK?
Oh, they
were very helpful and answered my persistent questions very patiently,
but I found that I was constantly worrying that something was wrong.
Fortunately,
everything was fine but that particular birth was not as calm and
stress free as I would have liked. Many years later I now enjoy the
whole process - because I know what to expect and what to do if a
problem occurs.
This is why I
decided to write
‘The Layman’s Guide to Whelping Puppies – From Conception to Sale’
The Price for this invaluable
information?
Just $17 -
but you can't put a price on the satisfaction that you will feel when
you can hand your first fine, healthy puppy to it's new owner!
So,
if you have decided to breed a litter of puppies, this is the only book
that you will need to help you through the pregnancy, birth and the 8 -
10 week period before your puppies go to their new homes.
I
have also included my email address at the end of the book so that, if
you have any questions that I haven't answered in the book, you can
send me an email and I will try my best to answer them.
I am here to help.
Kay.
