Before I whelped my very first litter of puppies (a lot of years ago…), I had looked through all the bookstores for a book that was written in layman’s language.

I was disappointed to find that there was only what I considered to be text or veterinary books on the subject – nothing that was instantly understandable to the first time breeder.
